At a time when so many people are focussed on gaming due to social distancing, Facebook has made a play into the gaming space with the launch of a dedicated mobile app called Facebook Gaming.

This move has Facebook taking on Twitch and YouTube, with Facebook Gaming allowing users to create and watch live gameplay.
Facebook says that the Facebook Gaming App "is a focused, game-only experience where you can watch your favourite streamers, play instant games and take part in gaming groups. It's all of Facebook Gaming in one neat, app-sized package."
